Book Review: Lead Well and Prosper

Nick McCormick recently sent me a copy of his new book, Lead
Well and Prosper: 15 Successful Strategies for Becoming a Good Manager. I’ve read a lot of books on management, and
too often they’re gimmicky and theoretical.
What I liked about this title was that it was short, conversational, and
to the point. As Nick says, management
today is in a state of crisis. It’s so
difficult to get it right that an entire industry has been built around
ridiculing it. Why do you think The
Office is so popular? Two words? Steve Carrell.
