HR is the glue that holds an organization together. A company is only as strong as its weakest link. I believe that one effective tool for managing employees is through an Employee Newsletter. Frontline Employee is a fully editable newsletter. You can change as little or as much as you want.
In recent years, more and more HR departments are being asked by their company's to become profit centers, rather than cost centers. This is a huge change from the traditional HR role. However, it is possible and within the relocaiton industry, it is a common practice. It is interesting to see the number of (relocation) departments, (those responsible for the administration of their companys' relocation program), actually adding revenue to their company's bottom line.

How do they achieve this? Through strategic alliances with select suppliers that create income for their department. By having specific contractual arrangements, and depending upon the licensing required, and volume of moves, a company can add anywhere from $50,000 to $2.0 million in revenue in this manner.

It is not an uncommon question or practice. Please feel free to contact me to find out more. glogan@briggsfreeman.com
