Cement ruins my weekend (hilarity – sort of – ensues)

There are certain widget-makers in our shop that I talk to every day. Some because TheBoss said so, some because they are good people, some because they are high maintenance, some because they are high performers that need to be kept happy. Cement falls into the high maintenance category. He didn’t at first. He was quiet, kept to himself, and then TheBoss busted me on the “being short incident”.
